A partir des données de l'agence municipale des transports de San Francisco (SFMTA), Eric Fischer a réalisé une représentation artistique du traffic dans la ville.
San Francisco teste le stationnement en prix dynamique.
SF Park Project (SFPP) expérimente à partir de l'été 2010 un système de stationnement en temps réel, similaire à Uinfopark, dans sept zones pilotes de la ville. Ce projet consiste en un mapping temps réel des places libres dans la ville et d'un pricing évolutif en fonction du taux d'ocupation afin d'introduire une politique incitative de stationnement.
